Stratbase ADR Institute President Prof. Dindo Manhit had lunch with Director Hideaki Ishii and Deputy Director Mitsuhiro Nakamura of the Public Diplomacy Strategy Division from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, as well as Mr. Shigehiro Matsuda, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan. Stratbase Group Chief of Staff Dana Dinsay also joined the discussion.

They discussed the local politics vis-à-vis the current geopolitical events and tensions happening in the Indo-Pacific region. They also discussed about cooperation among maritime ASEAN nations and Japan’s role to play amidst all these.
