Stratbase Deputy Executive Director for Research and Advocacy, Dr. Jimmy Jimenez, Deputy Executive Director for Strategic Engagements, Ms. Joyce Reyes and Chief of Staff, Ms. Dana Dinsay, met with Mr. Matt Bailey, Senior Global Advisor, Cybersecurity and Digital Democracy, and Ms. Nicole Leaver, Digital Democracy Specialist from International Foundation for Electoral Systems at the Stratbase office.

Together, they discussed misinformation and disinformation in social media and how this has affected the 2025 national midterm elections. They also discussed the polarization in the country and how the current administration is working on pushing for more transparency initiatives, especially with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
