On June 17, 2025, as Chairperson of the Cybersecurity Committee of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC), Prof. Dindo Manhit (President and CEO of Stratbase Institute) attended the quarterly regular meeting which was presided by AFP Chief of Staff, Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. and Mr. Francisco del Rosario Jr., Chairperson of the AFP MSGC. BGEN Walter Icaro, his AFP Counterpart Co-Chairperson, presented key points they discussed during the Committee meeting last January 2025 at the Stratbase Office in Makati City.  

Cybersecurity is national security. We must continue to pursue a whole-of-society approach to ensure resilience against the ever-evolving cyber threats. It is a shared concern and responsibility by both private and public players, given its potential to affect regional stability, security, and prosperity.
