The Stratbase Group hosted a private roundtable discussion with a visiting faculty delegation from the United States Air War College at its office. Representing Stratbase, CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit was joined by Gen. Emmanuel Bautista (Ret.), former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines; MGen. Fabian Pedregosa, Commander of the Air Defense Command of the Philippine Air Force; and RADM Rommel Ong (Ret.), Non-Resident Fellow of the Institute and former Vice Commander of the Philippine Navy. 

The delegation from the US Air War College was led by Col. Ryan Hill, Chair of the National Security Studies Department, and included Dr. Joshua Goodman, Dr. Andrew Akin, Dr. Christopher Colley, and Dr. Gentry Jenkins from the National Security Studies and International Security Studies Departments. 

Together, they discussed the security challenges facing the Philippines and the Indo-Pacific, the current state of U.S.–Philippines bilateral relations, and potential avenues for deeper cooperation to further strengthen the alliance.
