As Chairman of the Cybersecurity Committee and member of the Strategic Communications Committee of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC), Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit attended the 3rd Quarter AFP MSGC meeting at the People’s Center Conference Room, House of Representatives. 

During the meeting, he presented the importance of Protecting Critical Infrastructure to Enhance Cybersecurity in the Philippines. Cybersecurity is no longer a purely technical concern but a core element of national defense, economic resilience and regional stability. 

For the Cybersecurity Committee, we believe that by adopting a proactive, collaborative approach, the Philippines can deter threats, respond effectively to incidents, and build lasting resilience in an increasingly contested digital domain – so that the Philippines can achieve its national interest and enhance cybersecurity.
