The Stratbase team, led by Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit, participated in a closed-door roundtable discussion hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea entitled, “Strengthening Security and Economic Ties between the United States, Republic of Korea, and the Philippines.” This was held at the Grand Hyatt in BGC, Taguig City. Prof. Manhit was joined by Ms. Dana Dinsay (Chief of Staff, Stratbase Group), Ms. Venice Rañosa (Research Director, Stratbase Group), Ms. Linar Orbista (Program and Research Manager, Stratbase Group), and Ms. Queenie Chan (Accounts and Research Manager, Stratbase Group). 

The discussions revolved around avenues to enhance defense cooperation between the Philippines, South Korea, and the United States amid an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape. Additionally, there are also areas of collaboration on the economic front, especially with a focus on enhancing the Philippines’ role in the global value chain.  

Stratbase continues to advocate for ensuring national and economic security for the Philippines through working with like-minded partners such as the United States and South Korea.
