The Stratbase Institute hosted a small roundtable discussion at the Stratbase office. The discussion featured a briefing by the Institute’s Non-Resident Fellow, Dr. Benjamin Blandin, on China’s grand strategy across the First Island Chain and its ultimate objective of advancing territorial expansion. His presentation also examined the increasing use of unmanned, autonomous, and other non-conventional naval platforms as part of this strategy.  
 
The briefing brought together retired government officials, security experts, and members of the diplomatic community. The Institute continues to advocate for continuous dialogue and stronger partnerships among like-minded states, especially those within the First Island Chain.
