Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit was invited to speak at the BusinessWorld Forecast 2026 entitled “Seizing New Growth Opportunities Amid Disruptions” at the Grand Hyatt Manila, Taguig City. 

He spoke at the panel discussion on “Navigating New Normal In Trade: How Philippines Is Faring In The New Global Trade Order.” During his opening remarks, Prof. Manhit highlighted the geostrategic importance of the Philippines in the Indo-Pacific as the world continues to face either a global disorder or a complex and competitive geopolitical architecture. He talked about the confluence of national security and economic security in trade and investments, which is why there is a need for strategic collaboration to sustain economic growth through inclusive governance. 

He was in a panel alongside the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc. (SEIPI) President Mr. Dan Lachica and Federation of Philippine Industries President Mr. John Reinier Dizon.
