The Australian Embassy to the Philippines First Secretary for Economic Affairs, Paul McEachern visited Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit at the Stratbase office. 

They discussed the Philippines’ current economic and political landscape, with a particular focus on the mining sector and the critical minerals industry as key growth areas and the opportunities they present. They were joined by Ms. Katrina Baligod, Investment Officer at the Australian Embassy; Ms. Dana Dinsay, Chief of Staff of Stratbase Group; and Ms. Linar Orbista, Program and Research Manager of Stratbase Group. 

We thank Mr. McEachern for his visit and look forward to collaborating with the Australian Embassy to further strengthen economic cooperation between Australia and the Philippines.
