Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit was visited by the U.S. Mission to the ASEAN and colleagues from the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines at the Stratbase office.  

The delegation was composed of Mr. Adh Stevens (Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Mission to ASEAN), Ms. Fidya Shabrina (Public Engagement Coordinator, U.S. Mission to ASEAN), Mr. Chad Kinnear (Deputy Director for Public Engagement, U.S. Embassy in the Philippines), Mr. Michael Gonzalez (Political Officer, U.S. Embassy in the Philippines), Ms. Sheila Conti (Public Engagement Specialist, U.S. Embassy in the Philippines), Mr. Daniel Xavier Chua (Professional Exchanges Coordinator, U.S. Embassy in the Philippines) and Ms. Pauline Piczon (Political Assistant, U.S. Embassy in the Philippines). He was joined by Ms. Claudette Guevara-Hizon (Executive Director, Stratbase Institute) and Ms. Venice Rañosa (Research Director, Stratbase Group). 

They discussed about maritime security, the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairship, and other emerging regional issues. Stratbase looks forward to supporting like-minded partners such as the United States and bridging ASEAN member states and its dialogue partners, especially as Philippines chairs the ASEAN this year.
