Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit had a meeting with Asec. Augusto Gaite (Assistant Secretary for Defense Technology, Research, and Industry Development, Department of National Defense) at his office at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. 
 
They discussed industrial sectors that could best support the government’s Self-Reliant Defense Posture (SRDP) Program. They spoke of how the SRDP Program will not only make the Philippines have an innovative and resilient defense system, but will also help with the country’s economic growth to create more employment opportunities for the Filipino people.
