Stratbase Institute Prof. Dindo Manhit was invited to give a special briefing to the Chamber of Thrift Banks during their General Membership Meeting at Dusit Thani, Makati City. They invited him to speak about navigating opportunities amid global and domestic uncertainties. Central Bank Deputy Governor Mamerto Tangonan gave the keynote address to talk about the current state of payments in the country and digitalization initiatives of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. 
 
He spoke about the current political landscape and the challenges we face, especially the cost-of-living crisis. The Philippines is still projected to be an upper-middle income economy despite the political noise. Thus, he emphasized the need to think strategically and beyond political timelines to truly achieve a sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous Philippines for everyone.
