Stratbase Institute Founder and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit welcomed a delegation from the United States Air War College to the Stratbase office. He was joined by Stratbase Institute Non-Resident Fellows RADM Rommel Ong (Ret.) and Prof. Renato de Castro. The group, which includes officers from the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Coast Guard, is in the Philippines as part of their Regional Security Studies course. 

The delegation, led by Air War College Professor Capt. Albert Benoit and Lt. Col. Brandon Vigneron of the U.S. Air Force, met with Prof. Manhit and the other Non-Resident Fellows to discuss the current challenges in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly the Philippines. Prof. Manhit spoke about the country’s ongoing maritime challenges, as well as the growing concern over foreign interference and malign influence in the information space. Both RADM Ong and Prof. de Castro also shared their insights on the current geopolitical landscape.
