Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit was invited by H.E. Shri Harsh Kumar Jain, Ambassador of India to the Philippines, to meet with Shri Periasamy Kumaran, Secretary (East) from the Ministry of External Affairs of India at Conrad Hotel, Pasay City. 

Joining the luncheon were Prof. Renato De Castro (Non-Resident Fellow, Stratbase Institute; Professor, Department of International Studies, De La Salle University), RADM. Rommel Jude Ong (Ret.) (Non-Resident Fellow, Stratbase Institute; Professor of Praxis, Ateneo School of Government), Ms. Regina Lay (News Anchor and Business News Editor, One News), Mr. Don McLain Gill (Non-Resident Fellow, Stratbase Institute; Lecturer, De La Salle University), MGEN Restituto Padilla (Ret.) (former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, J5; former AFP Spokesperson), Atty. Neil Silva (Legal Officer,Institute for Maritime Affairs and Law of the Sea, University of the Philippines – Diliman), Mr. Michel Andre Del Rosario (CEO and Founder, Center for Information Resilience and Integrity Studies (CIRIS)) and Prof. Ranjit Rye (Assistant Professor, UP Diliman). They were also joined by Mr. TD Bhutia, Political Counsellor of the Embassy of India. 

Together, they discussed about strengthening collaboration between Philippines and India as like-minded partners. Stratbase looks forward to more dialogue with India amid a complex geopolitical landscape.
