The Stratbase ADRi and Democracy Watch Philippines hosted on May 11 a panel entitled “The Political Economy of Population and Growth”, at the 2017 Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) International Conference held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel. Stratbase ADRi Trustee Dr. Francisco Magno, as PPSA President, delivered the opening remarks for the event proper.

Stratbase ADRi President Dindo Manhit facilitated the panel.

Distinguished speakers during the panel were Dr. Mark Thompson (Professor of Politics, City University of Hong Kong), Prof. Teresa Tadem (Professor of Political Science, University of the Philippines-Diliman), and Dr. Antoinette Raquiza (Associate Professor, University of the Philippines-Diliman).
