Our guest speaker, Mr. Walter Lohman, jumpstarted the roundtable discussion by sharing his insights on key challenges and opportunities of U.S. Policy in Asia under the Trump administration.

Mr. Lohman is the Director of the Asian Studies Center of the Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy of the Heritage Foundation. He is a policy expert focused principally on Southeast Asia, but also broader Asia policy including relations with America’s allies in Japan, South Korea and Australia. He is also a close observer of China Policy.
