On July 24, 2017, the President delivered his second State of the Nation Address. Similar to previous presidents, President Duterte laid out the accomplishments of his administration and consequently, gave assessment to the administration’s overall performance. Likewise, the SONA provided an opportune time for President Duterte to present his plans for the next five years.

In this light, Stratbase ADR Institute and Democracy Watch Philippines hosted a roundtable discussion entitled: “The Road to Change: Civil Society Organizations’ Post SONA Assessment” on July 27, Thursday, at Makati City.

Through this endeavor, the ADR Institute and Democracy Watch was able to discuss the administration’s performance for the past year and evaluate the administration’s plans and priorities.
