Stratbase ADR Institute, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, hosted a round table discussion entitled “A Blueprint for Fisheries and Environmental Cooperation in the South China Sea”, held earlier today at the Manila Golf and Country Club, Makati City.
The guest speaker, Mr. Gregory Poling, discussed an overview of the status of biodiversity in the South China Sea region, arguments on an effective system to manage the South China Sea Fisheries and policy recommendations for claimant-states. Said Blueprint is the first output of Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Expert Working Group on the South China Sea, which seeks to chart a feasible model for claimants to manage maritime disputes.
