Stratbase ADR Institute, Inc. (ADRi) hosted a presentation of Dr. Alfredo Mahar Francisco A. Lagmay’s Special Study entitled: “An Open Data Law for Climate Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction” last Friday, March 23, 2018, in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

In presenting said policy paper, Dr. Lagmay defined Open Data, examined its application in the Philippines and other jurisdictions, and emphasized the need for the policy’s institutionalization for disaster risk management. Thereafter, a roundtable discussion ensued to give stakeholders the opportunity to exchange comments and ideas on what was presented.
