It is with pleasure that we share with you Stratbase ADR Institute’s Occasional Paper for the month of October 2020.
Entitled “Building Back to Green Economic Recovery”, this paper aims to augment existing recovery plans with proposed strategies and weave these measures to maximize the potential of bouncing back better. This study is also instructive that there is no blanket solution for sustainable economic recovery.
It proposes an inclusive and quality health system, energy transition, environmental protection, and strategic partnerships as cornerstones for a green economic recovery. It also utterly points out that policies and regulations have been remiss of the importance of prioritizing or harmonizing climate and environment with cross-cutting sectors such as infrastructure, food security, and disaster preparedness.
In its entirety, this paper contributes to the furtherance of our Stratbase ADRi advocacy for environmental concerns, i.e., health strategy, stronger communities, environmental protection, public-private partnerships, clean innovation, ICT capacity, and multi-stakeholder engagement toward Philippine green economic recovery.
