The United States Joint Advanced Warfighting School (US JAWS), the premier military war college of the United States of America, visited the Stratbase office to have an exchange with Prof. Dindo Manhit (President and CEO, Stratbase Institute). He led the discussion and was joined by GEN. Emmanuel Bautista (former Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines; Non-Resident Fellow, Stratbase Institute), RADM Rommel Ong (former Vice Commander, Philippine Navy; Non-Resident Fellow, Stratbase Institute), and RADM Roy Trinidad (Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Armed Forces of the Philippines; former Naval Inspector General, Philippine Navy). The discussions revolved around the current security and economic challenges the Philippines faces and how like-minded countries can work together to address them.
US JAWS provides the Joint Staff, the Combatant Commands, allied militaries, and other U.S. government agencies with graduates expert in the joint planning processes and capable of critical analysis in the application of all aspects of national power across the full range of military operations. US JAWS has students composed of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, Coast Guard, interagency civilians, and international fellows.
