Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit spoke during Manila House Private Club’s event on “Scandal, Security, and the State of the Nation”. He joined a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Ces Drilon, News Anchor for OneNews. 

During his talk, he spoke of the need for geostrategic thinking in a fragmented world and local politics and dynamics. Prof. Manhit spoke about the evolving geopolitical landscape and the strategic importance of the Philippines in the Indo-Pacific. However, the country continues to face a cost-of-living crisis, which is why it is important to start thinking geostrategically – planning beyond political timelines.
