Lecture at the National Defense College of the Philippines’ (NDCP) Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Course 62

Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit delivered a lecture on “Narrative Framing and Strategic Communication” to the class of the National Defense College of the Philippines’ (NDCP) Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Course 62 at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The MNSA is a graduate program under the NDCP that prepares senior military officers and civilian leaders for strategic roles in national security by integrating advanced policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation with professional military and executive leadership development.

The class is composed of 57 participants from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, national government agencies, the private sector, and foreign armed forces.

In his talk, Prof. Manhit highlighted the importance of an issue-centered and data-driven advocacy program anchored in credible research, evidence-based messaging, and strategic narrative-building. He emphasized that effective communication plays a vital role in shaping public discourse, advancing policy objectives, addressing complex security challenges, strengthening public trust, and building broader support for national priorities.
