Mark Davis M. Pablo is a Research Analyst at the ADR Institute. He graduated Cum Laude from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Prior to joining the ADR Institute, Mr. Pablo specialized in Strategic Studies. He began his career as a Defence Researcher/Analyst in the Office for Strategic Studies and Strategy Management (OSSSM), the think tank of the General Headquarters, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) from 2013 to 2015. During his two-and-a-half year stint, he engaged in strategic research, analysis and assessment, policy formulation, event organizing, academic lecturing, and public relations for the armed forces. His fields of interest include: China’s defence and foreign policy; South China Sea conflict; maritime security; ASEAN multilateral security and defence cooperation; and terrorism and political violence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
