Earlier this month, Dindo Manhit (Stratbase Group CEO and Managing Director and Stratbase ADRi President) and Arpee Manhit (Stratbase Group COO and Philippine Trade Foundation Inc. Executive Director) led the Philippines Inc. Eminent Persons Group (EPG) in a business mission to Washington DC and support Philippine Ambassador to the United States of America Babe Romualdez’s economic diplomacy program.
Joining the trip from Philippines, Inc. EPG were: Mr. Fausto Preysler, Jr. (President & Chairman of the Board, Smith Bell and Company), Mr. Geronimo Bella, Jr. (Chairman/President at Harbor Star Shipping Services, Inc.), Mr. Arthur Lopez (President, Philippine Hotel Owners Association, Inc.), and Mr. Job Ambrosio (Puyat, Jacinto, Santos Law Office).
In this trip the Philippines, Inc. EPG met with key leaders of the US-Asean Business Council, Center for International Trade and Economics of the Heritage Foundation, Asia Society Policy Institute, Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the US Department of Commerce.

CONGRESSMAN TED YOHO | 3RD DISTRICT OF FLORIDA | U.S. TRADE REPRESENTATIVE
Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Ted S. Yoho, met with the Philippines Inc. EPG and Amb. Babe Romualdez and discussed the BUILD Act – H.R. 5105.
This act, which was introduced by Yoho in the US Congress, if passed into law, will be a big boost to the US government in giving infrastructure aid to countries like the Philippines.
