Stratbase ADR Institute’s Fourth Quarter 2021 Economic Snapshots

It is with pleasure that we present to you the Stratbase ADR Institute’s Fourth Quarter Economic Snapshots. This report informs us of the state of economic affairs at the end of the year and provides a snapshot of economic events and developments that transpired in the last three months of 2021.

It consists of three sections, namely: 1) Updates on Economic Indicators, which includes Economic Growth, External Trade Performance, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Remittances, Employment, Ination, Exchange Rates, Gross International Reserves (GIR), and Debt-to-GDP; 2) Economic Surveys, which comprises of Business Expectations Survey (BES): Fourth Quarter 2021, Consumer Expectations Survey (CES): Fourth Quarter 2021, Social Weather Stations (SWS) Third Quarter 2021 Social Weather Survey on Adult Joblessness, and Social Weather Stations (SWS) Third Quarter 2021 Social Weather Survey on
Hunger, Social Weather Stations (SWS) and Pulse Asia Research Surveys on Economic Issues; and 3) Insights.

The trend, for now, is that improvements in the economic growth indicators are on the rise. Additionally, the need for public-private partnership has become more crucial than ever.
