Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” C. Manhit served as a reactor during the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (PCCI) 3rd General Membership Meeting, “Looking Beyond the Headlines: A PCCI Perspective,” held at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City. Invited by PCCI Secretary General Ruben J. Pascual, Prof. Manhit shared his insights in response to the keynote address of PCCI President Ferdinand “Perry” A. Ferrer.
In his remarks, Prof. Manhit underscored the importance of strengthening economic partnerships with like-minded countries, noting that initiatives such as the Pax Silica partnership and the Luzon Economic Corridor reflect the Philippines’ growing role in an increasingly interconnected Indo-Pacific.
He emphasized that strategic investments from like-minded countries can help create more high-quality jobs and strengthen the country’s competitiveness for the benefit of the Filipino people.
