Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit and Stratbase Group COO Mr. RP Manhit attended the inaugural Luzon Economic Corridor Investment Forum at the Grand Hyatt Manila. Initiated by the Philippines, the United States, and Japan, the Luzon Economic Corridor brings together partners from Australia, Canada, Denmark, the European Union, France, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
The Forum convened 600 international investors, industry leaders, project developers, and government officials to showcase opportunities within the corridor and connect investors with infrastructure projects ready for financing.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. opened the Forum by emphasizing that the initiative reflects growing international interest and confidence in the Philippines as a reliable partner and an attractive destination for long-term investment.
Discussions highlighted the corridor’s next priorities: mobilizing private capital and financing partnerships, strengthening energy security, building a trusted digital ecosystem, developing transport infrastructure for resilient supply chains, expanding advanced manufacturing, and positioning the Philippines as a regional maritime hub.
Stratbase supports initiatives that strengthen Philippine economic security and advance investment-led growth that creates quality jobs and lasting opportunities for the Filipino people.
