Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit, President and CEO of Stratbase Institute, delivered an address at the Ninth General Membership Monthly Meeting of the Consular Corps of the Philippines at Makati Shangri-La, where he presented “Geostrategic Thinking and Regional Dynamics in a Fragmented World” to present and former Dean Consuls.  

Also present at the meeting were H.E. Massimo Santoro of the European Union, Ms. Marta Hermez, New Deputy Head of Mission of Belgium, and Shri Tashi Damdi Bhutia, Deputy Head of Mission of India. 

The discussion explored the evolving geopolitical landscape and the complex regional and global dynamics shaping today’s fragmented world, emphasizing the importance of strategic thinking in understanding emerging challenges and opportunities. 

The engagement provided a valuable platform for dialogue and exchange among members of the diplomatic and consular community on the forces shaping the Philippines and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
