Stratbase Institute with the EU-ASEAN Business Council brought together representatives from the government, private sector, industry groups, academe, and civil society for a day of roundtable discussions on health, nutrition, and sustainability on October 14, 2026, at New World Makati Hotel.

The morning session discussed ways to improve access to affordable, nutritious food and strengthen preventive healthcare across all stages of life.

The afternoon discussion focused on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), including improving waste recovery and recycling, encouraging investment, and advancing a circular economy.

Across both sessions, participants exchanged perspectives on how effective policies and cooperation across sectors can translate national priorities into practical benefits for Filipino communities.
