Stratbase Institute President and CEO Prof. Dindo Manhit attended the National West Philippine Sea Summit at Conrad Manila, as Stratbase Institute, one of the event’s partner institutions, joined stakeholders in commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award. Prof. Manhit also serves as Vice Chair of the WPS Foundation.

During the summit, National Security Adviser Eduardo Oban Jr. delivered the 10th Anniversary Commemorative Policy Address, emphasizing the importance of defending the Philippines’ sovereign rights, strengthening national resilience, and upholding a rules-based international order. Retired Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio also delivered a special lecture, Mapping Sovereignty: History, Cartography, and the Philippine Territory.
